Hard to read the original census but Hannah here is aged 3 living with father John Smith and mother Ann.  She has two older brothers, William 21, John 16 and two sisters Elizabeth 9 and Mary 6. Location was Hillgate, Gateshead. Hannah father is down as profession, cordwainer.

A cordwainer was a shoemaker who crafted new shoes from new leather, distinguishing them from cobblers, who primarily repaired shoes. The term originates from the leather known as cordwain, historically produced in Córdoba, Spain.
